How to find your IMAP and POP email settings already on your iPhone

If you've already set your iPhone to check for email on your IMAP or POP account, then it's easy to find and share the correct settings, if you know where to look.

Let's get started:

Launch the Settings app on your iPhone...

Scroll down and tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars...

Tap the name of your email account in the Accounts list.

Tap the name of your account again on the resulting screen...

Take screenshot #1: Of the Incoming and Outgoing Mail Servers, by pressing the power button and Home button together. (You may need to scroll down and take an extra screenshot to get all of it.)

Take screenshot #2: Next, tap SMTP and then Primary Server, to take screenshot #2 of the Outgoing SSL and Server Port settings.

Take screenshot #3: Go back to the Account screen...

...Tap Advanced at the bottom of the screen, to find the info for the incoming Port and SSL settings. Take a screenshot (last of 3).

Email all your screenshots to screenshot@talkler.com for troubleshooting:

A. Launch the Photos app on your iPhone. Select the screenshots in the Camera Roll (tap the Select button, top right, then tap the screenshots).

B. Tap the Share button  6Yn8V.png  (lower left), and mail the images to screenshot@talkler.com
